Unlikely: If you have had a period in the last two weeks, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. Because you are off birth control and have started your periods again, you are definitely likely to get pregnant if you are sexually active and your partner is not using condoms. If you have had periods since the baby was born, but now haven't had one and it's overdue, then, yes, you should check a hpt.

Not quite following: The bottom line is that yes you can get pregnant, even while breastfeeding and on birth control. I'm not clear from your question details when certain things were occurring , so it's hard to say how likely/unlikely pregnancy would be. Even with the best of contraception techniques, except for absolute abstinence, there is a chance of pregnancy happening. Take a pregnancy test and get answer.
