Most likely: The lump is most likely due to the trauma of sucking and may be a hematoma (collection of blood from a broken blood vessel). I would recommend that you apply cold compresses to the area for 15 minutes 3-4 times daily. If it becomes red, hot, and painful, it may be due to a secondary infection and you should see your doctor for it.
