A member asked:

Is it safe to eat or touch food after using antibacterial hand gels? or those gels should be rinsed with water before touching/eating food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Safe: It is generally safe to eat food after using hand gels. The alcohol that kills most of the bugs will evaporate. There is however a residue often left over on your hands, but these tend to be the fragrance or moisturizer or delivery medium left over.
