Caused by bacteria: Smelly feet are caused by bacteria, which use your sweat as a food source. If your feet sweat a lot this can cause an odor. Open shoes can cause a lot of sweating as can wearing closed toed shoes without socks. Use baby powder in your socks and to change your socks in the middle of the day. "on your toes" is a product that kills the bacteria and this can found at a podiatrist's office.
