Will eating any amount of vinegar or very sour foods harm my baby during my pregnacy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Foods and pregnancy: Sour or spicy foods are generally not harmful to pregnancy. You should careful to avoid foods that are not pasteurized, as there can be bacteria growing in these foods that can cause issues for the baby. Vinegar in particular is not dangerous. These types of foods will generally cause more heartburn and indigestion during pregnancy. If you have specific cravings, you should talk with your doctor.
