I was just diagnosed with strep throat but didn't have a fever or belly pain just ear pain and feeling something is caught in throat is that normal?

Maybe: Or you may just be a strep A carrier and that is unrelated to your other issue. The symptom complex presented by individual patients varies. A positive test coupled with an exam may be Strep throat. Yet depending on the season, 5% or more of the population can carry strep in their throat year round with no symptoms and not truly be infected.
