You need a diagnosis: I don't believe a patient can determine if they have sinus pain. Pain in the mask of the face can be dental pain or neuralgic pain and have nothing to do with the paranasal sinuses. If you have yellow-green nasal drainage, pressure under the eyes, pressure between the eyes, significant post nasal drainage, then you still need a specific diagnosis by an ENT doctor. Cat scan is the gold standard.
