Tachycardia: Many reasons for this .Main goal is to rule out cardiac arrhythmia. I would advise you to go see cardiologist if this is a persistent problem while resting. However , i can see that you are on Alprazolam and have insomnia.I wonder you have anxious personality .If it is so, relaxation technique is always the best option rather than depending on pharmacotherapy.
