Dehydration: You are probably dehydrated. Alcohol works as a diuretic substance (reason you pee when you drink). If you are not hydrating yourself you are volume depleted causing your heart to work harder and beat faster. Also going to beat faster if drinking with mixers like redbull or caffeinated beverages which are also stimulants.

Likely dehydration: You may experience high pulse rate due to dehydration. Try drinking plenty of water first thing in the morning. You may try something like gatorade to ensure proper electrolytes. A less likely possibility is metabolic disorder that would need investigation. If the above treatment does not help, please see your doctor and limit your alcohol intake.
