Variable recovery: Recovery to baseline following surgery is highly variable. Laparoscopy generally results in quicker return to activities than open surgery. Most are able to return to work within 1-2 weeks. Strenuous laborers may require more time. If you are concerned, call your surgeon to discuss and insure there are not complications.
