Possible Mondor"s: At times, veins under the breast become clotted and inflamed after breast surgery, a condition known as mondor's phlebitis. It is self limited and of no significance. You can take aspirin, or allieve, or ibuprofen, and apply heat to the area intermittently for several days. To insure this diagnosis, check with your doctor, especially if the symptoms worsen or don't subside in a few days.
