My 3 year old sister got a skin burn little bit above her navel 2 weeks ago. the scar is 2 inches long and 0.45 inches wide. does the scar disappear?

Depends on degree: Most burns that either turn the skin red or blister, but the underlying skin remains pink, will leave a dis colored area for a long time which eventually fades. If the skin at the burn base is white, or full thickness, it will keep a permanent scar.
