Could i donate my adrenal glands?

Dr. Myron Arlen
Surgical Oncology 65 years experience
Not indicated: The medullary portion of the adrenal is responsible for producing the adrenaline compounds and the cortex for expression of cortisone. When an adrenal is lost replacement is not indicated since the functional loss is easily replaced with the necessary oral mediation.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
