A member asked:

Could i do to determine the degree of damage sustained to my heart and arteries and what are treatment options for second-hand exposure syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cardiac check-up: I believe you mean second-hand smoke exposure. This exposure is extremely important and depends on the degree to which you are exposed. Coronary artery disease and other vascular disease leading to heart attack and stroke can result from second-hand exposure to tobacco. Discuss with you doctor getting a cardiac evaluation to determine if an echo, stress test, cardiac CT, etc. can check your risk
