Avoid dust: Lungs are already compromised by presence of pneumonia.Dust and pollution do not help respiratory status. It is best to be inspiring as clean air as possible when having a disease process affecting the lungs.

It depends.: There are different types of bacteria that cause bacterial pneumonia in the community. Infections acquired in the hospital can be caused by different bugs. Viral pneumonia would not respond to any antibiotics. On rare occasions pneumonia could be cause by a fungus.
