Not likely: Not sure why asking this question. I trained under a physican who trained with Dr. Cyriax. Friction massage is usually meant for tendinitis processes such as lateral epicondylitis or rtc tendinitis. However, I don't think that massaging healthy tissue would cause any damage. Not likely.
