Pressure: Pain associated with meniscus injury is most commonly a firm hard pressure along the joint line of the knee, often in the back of the knee. This pain is more pronounced with bending of the knee beyond a certain point if the tear is in the back of the knee. The pain is more pronounced with straightening of the if the tear is in the front of the knee. Twisting can also reproduce this pain.
