Dr. Kass is correct: And I'd add the following: AND THEN, SOME. Consolidation of a compression nerve problem can be spontaneous but even when the pain is completely gone, heavy physical exertion or activities should still be guarded against for at least another 2-4 weeks depending upon how severe the initial injury was. Go back TOO early & you're at risk for reinjury that can really force you out for even longer.
