Pre-auricular pit: If this is something that has been present since birth, it is called a pre-auricular pit, a congenital condition which appears to be harmless. The pit is shallow and quite small in size. It is usually unilateral, only one ear. You should not be concerned about it.

May be congenital : These small holes are very common and represent congenital (from birth) abnormalities. Sometimes they can become infected. As long as it doesn't bother you i wouldn't bother with it. If you are concerned have an ENT doctor take a look at it.
