Guinea Pig Bite: Clean the area well with warm soap and water. Dry well. Apply thin strip of antibiotic ointment. Can cover with bandaid. When was your last tetanus shot? if you haven't had one within 10 years - get one. Signs of infection include- redness, swelling, warmth, pus, streaking, increasing pain, & fever.
