Tea tree oil: Tea tree oil (melaleuca) is often used in otc antifungal preparations. BP has been used for acne for years to kill bacteria and dry the skin to prevent future acne. Dermatologists are using antifungals more to treat common acne. If you use BP without benefit, i would try tea tree oil. Any substance can cause an allergy or sensitivity, so be cautious with first uses of both products.
