A member asked:

Can you tell me what is the best pain relief for my daughters severe diaper rash?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain with rashes: Keeping the area clean and dry, and using over the counter barrier creams like Desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) or A&D ointment will help protect the skin as it heals. Oatmeal or epsom salt baths may also help. Occassionally, rashes need to be treated with prescription creams.
