A member asked:

Could you tell me what is the name for cancer in the blood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leukemia.: Malignancies derived from blood forming cells are generally called 'leukemia' or 'lymphoma'. These can be either acute or chronic and can range from immediately life threatening illnesses to low grade processes that can smolder for years to even decades. There are many types of leukemia and each is a unique disease state. Hope that this helps.
