Can any doc tell me what's john hopkins hospital treatment for cholesteatoma?

Surgery.: I can't tell you specifically what they do at Johns Hopkins, but it is most likely what is recommended everywhere: surgery. The procedure, called tympanomastoidectomy, is performed to remove all the trapped skin from the ear and reconstruct the eardrum. This creates a safe, dry ear. Left untreated, cholesteatoma can cause complications over time. See an ENT surgeon, Hopkins or elsewhere.
