A member asked:

Can appendix pain be considered intractable pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally, no: Intractable pain is chronic and unrelenting without or with a source. Appendix pain can be "chronic" but usually becomes identified as a source with testing and examination and can be resolved with treatment.
