Initially: pain around belly button or umbilicus, then may migrate to right lower abdomen, low grade fever, usually no major change in bowels. If you suspect you or someone has appendicitis, best to be seen promptly by your doctor or go to the ER. A missed and then perforated appendicitis is a much more serious problem than acute appendicitis diagnosed early.
