Galactosemia: This disease is only problematic if the appropriate diet is not followed. If stay on diet, then no ADL's affected. If don't follow diet, neurologic symptoms appear leading to motor difficulties and even brushing your hair could be a chore. Keep it easy and stick to appropriate diet.
