A member asked:

What's been found in patients with depression, impulsive disorders, and a history of rage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Related: Patients with depression can be irritable and loose their temper. Rage can be a manifestation of anxiety disorder (the fight part of the fight or flight response) or part of an impulse disorder such as adhd or intermittent explosive disorder. Alcohol and drugs can disinhibit someone who is anxious or depressed causing them to have outbursts of anger. An evaluation is in order.
