Individual case: Homeopathic treatment focuses on the patient as a person, as well as pathological condition. Homeopathic medicines are selected after a full individualizing examination and case-analysis, which includes the medical history, physical and mental constitution etc. The remedy you need isn't something you can grab off the shelf @ whole foods. That said, i've seen BP improve in the course of treatment.

Very rare: Only rarely. Hydralazine, nifedipine, and minoxidil - if given without a beta blocker - can cause reflex tachycardia which, in a marginally compensated person, could result in ischemia. It doesn't happen often.
