Yes: Bedwetting is a very common condition in children, & occurs in 15% of normal children, diminishing with age. It is about 2 1/2 times more common in sickle cell patients.

Postentially: Pts with poorly controlled sickle cell may lose the ability to concentrate their urine, resulting in large volume urine production even if they are not drinking. This can contribute to night time wetting.
