Unlikely problem: The living conditions for the amoeba are rather specific. Warm settled water, most often a pond. For it to survive more than a few moments in a hand sanitized is very unrealistic.However, the many preservatives and chemicals in the hand sanitizer could cause problems if you ingest it.
