Not sure : If you are experiencing visual symptoms that are unexplainable, i highly recommend a comprehensive eye exam by an ophthalmologist. This will address your eyes and symptoms to discover what you are experiencing. Otherwise it's a guess.

Pseuduotumor cerebri: Doxycycline can cause visual disturbances and you may have idiopathic intracranial hypertension (also known as pseudotumor cerebri)-- see your eyemd and mention that you are on Doxycycline and you need your optic nerve examined for disc edema.
