A member asked:

Can i take clarithromycin 500 with mucinex (guaifenesin)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biaxin (clarithromycin) and mucinex: Yes. I use them together all the time. I am not aware of any interactions. Just take the recommended doses and you should be fine. If you are concerned check the info on the Mucinex (guaifenesin) and any p-450 metabolism of the drug would be a problem. Good luck and feel better.
