Maybe: Anal discharge and drainage can be normal after hemorrhoid surgery. If there is a lot of swelling, then you may need to call and see your surgeon soon. Soaking in warm bath 1 to 3 times a day may help, and avoid constipation and straining for bowel movements early after this surgery.
