Persistent infection: Sounds like you have either a persistent infection (the antibiotic you took didn't clear the infection) or a recurrent infection (infection clears with treatment but then you are re-exposed to the infection from partners who have not been treated and get the infection back). In either case, you need to re-visit your doctor, likely need further treatment (make sure cultures are done). Treat partner.
