A member asked:

Do you need to take medication for pots syndrome/ inappropriate sinus tach? high hr is just an annoyance sometimes, don't really have other symptoms

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: If you have a diagnosis of pots, the treatment is directed towards symptoms. Pots by itself isn't life threatening, but can be annoying. Lots of fluids throughout the day is also a standard recommendation. If you really aren't symptomatic, why would you take medicine or even carry this diagnosis.
