TMJ/TMD : The most common musculoskeletal disorder causing orofacial pain is a temporomandibular disorder. Tmd should be viewed as a group of related conditions that can be divided into disorders related to the muscles of mastication (muscular) and those emanating from the tmj. Earache and head pressure are common symptoms due to the close location to tmj. Rec.: orofacial pain practitioner for diagnosis.
