?tendonitis: If you note shoulder discomfort with certain motions, the burning discomfort may be due to chronic tendonitis or even arthritis of the shoulder joint. Since your symptoms are so positional, i doubt that you have significant muscle weakness. See your rheumatologist if symptoms worsen.

Nerve irritation: This symptom might be associated with some type of nerve irritation especially after just few seconds of holding arm up. It would be good to know if there are other symptoms associated like neck pain, pain other than the one experienced with changes in position, injuries, swelling min order to make a definite diagnosis. If it keeps happening or getting worse have your pcp take a look at it.

Paresthesia: More likely related to nerve irriation called paresthesia which can be caused by several different problems from nerve entrapment, medication side effect, repetitive use of hand/ wrist etc. If problem is persisting or getting worse, then go see your doctor.
