Not from implant!: The loss of periods is attributed to hormonal changes occuring after implantation. The fertilized egg must implant before a period is missed. Furthermore the release of egg (s) from the female occurs in midcycle, several weeks before the onset of the period. Hope this clears any issues! you should see your fp or ob-gyn.

NO: Implantation bleeding occurs before the missed cycle. Implantation ususally is 5-7 days after conception/fertilization. Some women have implantation bleed while others do not. Bleeding after a missed cycle is either a late cycle, or if pregnant- something to get checked.
