I am an 35 y/o firefighter who is in good shape. i had a laparoscopic appendectomy. how long until i can return to full duty?

Guide: There should be no heavy lifting for 8 weeks as only 60% of the incision is fully healed after 6 weeks. You must be cleared by a qualified physician before being cleared for full duty as a firefighter. Light duty, if it's an option, would be reasonable after 2 weeks.
