Tinea cruris: It seems that the Miconazole cream can work, but you may need to use it for a longer period of time, for at least several days beyond when the rash and itching disappear. Once it does seem to have genuinely cleared up you may need to apply a powder to keep the area dry to reduce chance of recurrence. If these measures do not work then see your doctor for evaluation.
