Not necessarily: Prolonged sitting, or staying in any position for an extended period can make limbs and joints stiff and sore even in a young person. Your body may also find some positions difficult because of how you are put together. Consider asking your physician, or physical therapist or a up yoga instructor about ways your body can move and sit comfortably.

Painful legs: Sounds like you are sitting on your legs to the point that they "go to sleep". You can pinch the nerves and blood supply by sitting on your legs. I recommend that you stop sitting on your legs.

Leg pain: It's probably not your bones. It may be normal or you may be feeling nerve pain. People with lumbar disc disease may get leg pains when sitting too long as sitting puts more force on the discs and potential pressure on the nerves that go to the legs. It is important to know how long the pain lasts and how long this has been going on though to assure it isn't caused by something else.
