Leptin effectss: There is no available treatment for leptin resistance. You need to total up the calories that you are eating. There are a number of websites that will give you this information. Low carbohydrates may be counterbalanced by high caloric intake of fats. If you are not losing weight, you are not burning more calories than you are taking in. You have to count them!

Diet and exercise: You're doing the right things to help your leptin resistance. Make sure to avoid foods that have high fructose content added for flavor. This refers particullarly to corn syrup.

Leptin resistance: Leptin is a major player in metabolism as you know. Regular exercise is one of the best ways to reduce leptin resistance; also avoiding sugars, especially high fructose corn syrup and grains like wheat (which become sugars when you eat them). Healthy fats like fish oil, avocado, and coconut oil. http://tinyurl.com/koe9hn5 if not losing weight, make sure to get plenty of sleep too!
