Yes it could be: Unfortunately, the only way to know for certain is to be tested again. If you are again positive, make sure you finish all of your prescribed medicine, wash all the glasses in your bathroom daily, and get a new toothbrush 2-3 days after starting your antibiotic. Avoid kissing or sharing drinks/forks/spoons/etc with anyone in the household with recent history of sore throat.

Fever symtoms: These symptoms could be related to an unresolved strep infection which could be due to a few reasons like being resistant to the antibiotic you took or not taking a complete course of treatment as prescribed. These symptoms could also be caused by another type of infection like influenza, viral pharyngitis if appeared after strep resolved, among others. If you feel worse or the same get evaluated.

Recurring strep: Recurring strep throat is a very common throat problem. You might contracted a resistant form of the bacteria or your antibiotic was not good enough for any reason. If the problem recurring over 10 times a you should consider having your tonsils removed. For now, see your pcp for diagnosis and treatment.
