Green, leafy vegetables contain chlorophyll, which could be coloring stool green. Foods w/dark purple coloring, such as kool-aid, popsicles, and gelatin (jell-o), can also result in greenish/green stools. Iron supplements can cause this and foods eaten in st. Patrick's.
