My son has a high sgpt of 67. 11according to the result the normal is 10-35. he has also a high sgot of 45.79. and the normal range ia between 15-40.

Viral: Those minimally elevated liver function tests are most probably due to a viral infection. Can be as simple as common cold. Another possibility is a fatty liver if your boy is overweight. Viral hepatitis gives you much higher numbers in those tests usually

Elevated LFT: Elevated lft have various causes including viral hepatitis, genetic condition and even more ominous condition. However the most common cause of elevated lft is fatty liver.
