Short answer-NO: Smoking relaxes people and feeds their nicotine habit, and without it, they are having nicotine fits ; are anxious, irritable, can't concentrate, eat more, gain weight etc etc etc. However, if they didn't start to begin with, none of those "benefits" would be there. So, the long answer is also no. Smoking complications sicken, hurt and kill more people (including non-smokers)than anything else.
