A member asked:

Can there be 2 kinds of floaters?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Floaters: Are basically opacities that float around in the vitreous jelly that fills the back of our eyes. They typically occur in adults with aging and develop when the vitreous separates from the retina. Floaters can vary in size and shape so they may vary from eye to eye. Floaters also can occasionally be caused by blood in the vitreous. If you recently developed floaters, then see your eye doctor.
