A member asked:

What are some alternative treatment for acute leukaemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: Please follow the recommended, standard treatment. Before modern medicine, nearly 100% of kids and adults with acute leukemias died within a few weeks to months of being diagnosed. Today, almost all patients get into remission. About 40% of patients with the most aggressive types will be cured with no evidence of leukemia 5 years from diagnosis. Some easier to treat types have 80-90% cute rate.
