IUD/diapragm/cer.cap: As Dr. Friedlander mentioned, an IUD is a good alternative, but other effective alternatives include diaphragms and cervical caps. She can ask her gynecologist, family doctor or planned parenthood about these. Pulling out is very risky with a high failure rate.
